Good Morning Ruby Red
Here is the new Daily Painting challenge,Oil on Linen Covered Board 6x8 inches
I decided to paint my favorite morning fruit, now I will set the half that has been sitting in the studio out for the birds and they will have a treat too.
Hi Janette, this is a lovely little painting with good expressive brush strokes and great hues. What a lovely thought to think of the little birdies, especially around this time of the year.
You did a fantastic job on these! I'm a huge fan of grapefruit; I have some every day at least once. Very nice work here, I especially love what's at the very top on your title space - delicate and lovely.
Nice work, Janette. I especially like those beautiful cast shadows!
ReplyDeletegreat job on this. The cut piece looks so juicy, it is making my mouth water for grapefruit. The cast shadows are great as well
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the Challenge!
ReplyDeleteSharing your favorite fruit with the birds, you made me smile.
Ooh, I love all the varied colors in the skin and shadows. Welcome to EDM as well! Your paintings are wonderful.
